Whatever ISU is doing is working because Campbell has recruited very well here so far
How does anyone know if he is recruiting well or not, just based on class ranking? You probably need 4-5 years to see how the recruits play out.

Classes that rank 7th and 8th in a 10 team conference is recruiting "very well".
What the hell happened to Raising the Standard?
For ISU and where we were at that is very well. This is the first year where the the standard is being raised to a whole new level
Come on now. Don't hate on the specialists. They can help win games too.It is a slight improvement from the Rhoads era of recruiting.
At least you have your specialists locked down for the 2018 class.

I'm predicting 5 this year
It's not even close.
I said 6 and you got really mad at me.
ISU will go bowling, but it isn't because they are much better, instead the Big12 is backsliding toward ISU.
If you look at the amount of recruits that ever saw meaningful snaps in the Rhoads era, you'd be able to (maybe even through your Hok troll glasses) see why it was extra poor.7th and 8th is pretty close to 9th.

Why do you think the Big 12 will be worse this year?

The number of guys who transferred or just never made an impact on game day is outrageous.IMO CPR and his staff did a pretty decent job recruiting the skill positions (minus QB) but the O-line and D-line recruiting was flat out awful. CMC is bringing in guys in the trenches that don't need to add 30-40 pounds before they are serviceable, he's bringing in legit lineman that will require some development but not a complete body overhaul. I'm convinced that all of the knee problems our o-lineman had under CPR was due to the weight that was packed onto those guys.
It was down this year, and I just think it is trending down. That happens with conferences they are down a few years, back up, etc.
This really bothers ISU fan for some reason, I have never experienced a fan base more tied to Conference Pride than ISU. Maybe it is because they never contribute to the conference strength, but man you guys sure like to tell everyone just how impossibly hard it is for ISU to win in the Big12.

I hope the Big 12 is down this year but I don't expect it to be. I think it will be better than last year
