My mother was so happy when my dad took over being the church's webmaster after he retired. Got him out of her hair for a bit every week. He's not the webmaster anymore...almost took up TOO much time. He now helps with the video they make of each service and put on the web.

It's uncanny how they pick these things up. My daughter is almost that way with NWA now. I know Straight Outta Compton by heart, but have a hard time remembering what was on efil4zaggiN and what was on 100 Miles and Runnin.

My beef with this edition of One Shining Moment: do we really need to see more of Julia Louis Dreyfus and Aaron Rodgers on TV? Could we get one more glimpse of some great college basketball players instead? I don't remember seeing Bill Murray, wonder if he's pissed?

Does anyone know what happens to Phil Simms now that he has been replaced by Tony Romo? Did he retire or basically get dumped?

I don't remember a one shining moment with so many crowd shots and so little basketball. I think CBS dropped the ball on it this year.

CG who's going to mow your lawn when your gone or are you just going to run a electric fence up and let some goats run while your gone? They probably wouldn't do much more than eat all your flowers and strip your trees.:rolleyes:
 
Also, met with the neighbors last night to plan this summer's road trip. Any suggestions about what to do near Winter Park and Rocky Mountain National Park?

White water rafting at Estes state park. Drive the rocky national state park drive. Hike a montain.

Getting old.

Son was feeling good about his time in the 400 hurdles (thought it was a good start and after cleaning some stuff up he could qualify for state), then finds out a kid whose school dropped down a class ran a state championship time at a different meet. This kids school will probably be in our district.
