I like the Ewing hire. The guy has wanted to be a head coach in the NBA so bad and has been on the bench for awhile. He is passionate about his school and should be able to recruit there.

It's east coast Creighton isn't it? I mean, there's a pool to recruit from but it isn't what it used to be and I don't think bringing in a former pro no kid has ever seen play is going to be the huge draw people think it is.

This is the type of guy that Iowa State should look at. Give the kid a year off to fully recover and get his me back and maybe we get a top 50 center. If not we took a flyer and no biggie.

While I agree, we already have a flyer guy and it isn't looking all that optimistic so far. Do we really want another one?
