Seemingly never ending Iowa MBB thread (still going.....)

Ok, you know he ended up playing starter minutes by the end of his freshman year.
That team was 28-8, won the conference tournament, went to the sweet 16 (beating Carolina without the heart and soul)

Come on, even an Iowa fan knows that Kane and Ejim were the heart and soul of that team.

What I meant was, let's wait until JorBo's career is over, and then compare. Not fair to him right now, as he may turn into another John Stockton.
The closest he will be to Monte is this year. Fran's erosion of players spirit and confidence will wear out whatever thimble of talent Bohanon has by the middle of his junior year.

Pretty awesome that Jordan Bohannon smashed Monte Morris freshman stats in points and assists. Very high ceiling for that young man.

This wasn't a serious post right?

You realize that Bohannon was put in that position because of Fran's inability to recruit a true quality PG, right? The only reason he got to those kind of figures was that he had to play close to 30 minutes per game because of no backup.

He was the 3rd leading scorer and top assist player for Iowa because he had to be., He was a starter most of the season. Monte started less than 1/2 of the games as a freshman, and played behind an-American PG. Often he played the 2, or even the 3. Bohannon has 151 assist so far...tops on the team...next closest was Jok with 78. Monte had 134 with fewer minutes per game at the point. He was 2nd on that team...behind Kane's 213. Niang also had 123. Monte was 6th on the team in scoring.....behind 4 players who averaged in double digits. Bohannon had to score, getting the 2nd most playing minutes per game on that team. Monte got the 5th most playing minutes for ISU that year. Monte shattered the NCAA record for A/TO ratio with a ratio of 4.78/1. Bohannon's was 2.1/1. Do you really not see the difference between these 2 players? They played in completely different circumstances.

For Bohannon's sake....I hope Fran can find someone else to play PG (and I bet Bohannon does too). He is a natural 2, and that is where his best future lies.

The Big 12 is good no matter what

Only getting 50% of a conference into the NCAA isn't that great. The BigTen isn't good and even they did that.

I think they are in, but I'm not a Big12 expert like you guys, so if you say K State is out they are out.

I hope you're trolling because these two paragraphs are dumb.
