Seemingly never ending Iowa MBB thread (still going.....)

Didn't know where to put this, so it goes here. I think ISU got a nice draw to make a run to the sweet 16. Purdue in the second round is a horrible matchup for Purdue. I don't think they can stay with the ISU guard heavy team. Being a BigTen fan I have never been sold on them.

If Kansas makes it to the sweet 16 (which I'm not 100% sure they can) I think ISU has more than a punchers chance to win. That would be an awesome
Spectacle to see ISU invade Kansas City yet again for that game.

Good luck to ya in the NCAA, Ill be rooting for ISU the next couple weeks!

Old guy in locker room yesterday
"Nobody in the country would of beat them (Indiana) yesterday"

Did anybody see Dakich on CBS Sunday night? What a zoom dweebie.....talking about Purdue and Minnysoda and all the rest of the underachieveing B1G teams. Like they're going to make any noise in the tournament. Hell, Wisky rolled over for the junior Pitinos.......

I'm guessing you're a fan of buffets because you like quantity over quality. Easy break down of how your statement is stupid.

ACC = 71% of teams made the tournament, average seed 4.9

This is a $100 a person buffet, the food is good, the crowd is good, plus you get all you can eat lobster tails.

Big 12 = 60% of teams made the tournament, average seed 5.6

This is a steak house, fewer options on the menu but the options are all good, bonus points, this is classy enough to where they dont have to have a sign reminding guests that shirt and shoes are required.

Big East = 70% of teams made the tournament, average seed 7.4

This is Appleby's... sure there are fewer options and the cheaper they get the worst they end up being... but hey Karaoke!

Big Ten = 50% of teams made tournament, average seed 6.7

This is the buffet at an Iowa casino. Sure, it's convenient and the food is decent, but then you look around and take note of the number of white trash hill billies around you with food falling out of their mouths as they eat.

It is good to see that ISU fans realize there are 68 teams in the NCAA tournament counting K state and all.

I think this played out like I thought. ACC, Big East as the best conferences and then the Big12. BigTen clearly better than the SEC and Pac12

He is a dummy. Minnesota and Purdue don't have a shot at the sweet 16. If anyone makes a run it will be Michigan.

UCLA, Arizona, and Oregon would wipe the floor with the majority of the B1G.

The ACC has 15 teams and 9 got in which by my count is 60% - same as the Big 12. Just one time I'd like a national sportscaster to mention that the ACC has more teams than any other conference but I suspect I will remain disappointed.

As does the NCAA, you know the ones that actually run the tournament and the only opinion that counts as fact.

No, Kansas State doesn't have a seed yet but they have the opportunity to get one.

Congrats on the NIT bid, I'm hoping you guys get back there next year without Jok so Fran's seat doesn't get warm

Your fellow ISU fans disagree.

I think you are mistaking the expectation that KSU will win their game with the fact that the Hawkeyes whiffed when given a similar opportunity.

Looking forward to a packed and rocking Carver Hawkeye for your March Situation, though!

K State isn't very good. Thanks for the NIT well wishes! Iowa will be in the NCAA next year, if you'd like to bet on that I'm game. I doubt you will as we both know Iowa will make it next year.

The problem is that you predict it every year, but median play is a bottom of the bubble/NIT level.

I am sure one day you will be right, but why should we play along?
