Well, they got more. Glad you guys are content with the Level that your program got to. Happy for you and your fans.

I didn't think he should go, but at the same time thought Alford would be great at Iowa. 1.2 wins per year is nice, but it isn't Elite and it isn't a National program.

Jury's still out on Babb but imo his ceiling is high. He's *this* close to being very good...the hope is he finds 'it' and it happens.

Jury isn't out. This was his 2nd full year at ISU and 3rd in college. If it isn't happening for you then, more than likely it won't happen.

In terms of basketball in the state of Iowa, I'd say it is. 6 straight tourneys.

Elite in the state of Iowa, aka better than Iowa, Drake, and UNI. Obviously that's different than calling it elite on a national level, and even you know that.

Lute's 5 year run was Elite. Dr Tom got ran out of town for 1 win per year in the NCAA. 1.2 wins per year for an Iowa team is not Elite.

1st year of actually playing and a limited roll behind veterans.

Notice how I said I think his ceiling is high from what I've seen--basically he just needs to finish because getting to the hoop isn't an issue...Steve Prohm seems to think he's decent.

I didn't predict some sort of All-American Final Four leading flare up like in Hawkdom.

Not everyone can be Woodbury and just wow the crowd from Day 1, although one could argue his most improved area was intentional malicious behavior to make up for his lack of actual athleticism. Seriously one of the worst players I've ever seen in general, and only add to it the hype surrounding him.

Connor is preferred walk-on, correct?

A walk-on? He might be paying his own way so his dad can use another scholarship but 4-star recruits usually arent walk ons right?

18 points sounds decent for a high school tourney game. The other kid is a sophomore, I dont know what scoring 3 points in a game says about his future prospects.

I watched most of the 2nd half and I don't remember a single basket he made. I remember a few free throws.
