Seemingly never ending Iowa MBB thread (still going.....)

I think results speak for themselves, so no denying that their players have had nice seasons.

I think Bohannan and Baer both look more like UNI- type of players, and that's a good thing--play real hard, generally fundamentally sound, etc., but if someone simply gets out on them, not much happening. And this isn't an ISU vs. Iowa thing, to be clear. Part of ISU's problem is with no inside game, there's a general struggle to create. I don't know what Cook was like early in the season but he looked comfortable vs. Wisconsin and he's got nice footwork.

Baer would start at ISU next year if he was on the team, as he is a big time upgrade over Babb.

How did that work out for you?

Got us to the #NextLevel just not the direction we were thinking.

I'm just saying for Hawk fan they wanted more, nad ISU fan really thinks 5 wins in 5 NCAA tournaments with 0 conference championship makes them Elite or some National program.

Well, they got more. Glad you guys are content with the Level that your program got to. Happy for you and your fans.

Oh, has the tournament started this year? Did ISU win its first round matchup, I miss that game somehow.
Oh, and it is 6.

2016 2-1 Defeated Iona in first round, 94-81
Defeated Arkansas-Little Rock in second round, 78-61
Lost to Virginia in regional semifinal, 84-71
2015 0-1 Lost to UAB in first round, 60-59
2014 2-1 Defeated North Carolina Central in first round, 93-75
Defeated North Carolina in second round, 85-83
Lost to Connecticut in regional semifinal, 81-76
2013 1-1 Defeated Notre Dame in first round, 76-58
Lost to Ohio State in second round, 78-75
2012 1-1 Defeated Connecticut in first round, 77-64
Lost to Kentucky in second round, 87-71

2 wins + 2 wins + 1 win + 1 win = 6.

Nobody said elite. But the run we've had with a very good coach who had both feet out the door and a second year replacement coach is pretty ******* awesome. Obviously we want to keep getting better, but we're not going to run a coach off for the success we've had.

So there is a stream of the boys state basketball tournament online. Is it bad that I can tell who McCaffery's kids are because no one stands at as good on that team? Oh yeah, and IC West is losing to Newton at the end of the 3rd quarter.

Thanks for spelling it out. These tavern hawks have poor math skills.

I like Devontae Lane more than anyone else on that squad and he will probably play football.

Excuse my #FakeMath

Point still stands. 1.2 wins per year in the NCAA isn't Elite.
