Seemingly never ending Iowa MBB thread (still going.....)

No, just come over to the dark side. You'll want to hop on the bandwagon now for the upcoming final fours over the next few years.

You forgot materials needed (in my experience, maybe slight exaggeration and perhaps just describing middle America): backwards Fred Durst style Hawks/Cubs baseball hat, LOTS of Journey and AC/DC on the Ipod/Discman, either a Hawkeye or high school shirt from the year you graduated, and a certain belligerent, yet controlled demeanor like your owed something, so you can verbally harass and scrutinize anyone for wearing an ISU shirt or rival high school in 'your bar'.

I would definitely take Weiskamp. I like that WIGGINTON is putting up numbers against elite competition though.

Weiskamp obviously has shown the ability in AAU circuits and such to be ranked that high by services. I dont think any recruiting service is going to proclaim him a great player for beating up on Ottumwa or Mount Pleasant.

You get two dead balls to review, rule 2, section 12 article 2
Art. 2. When the officials’ error as in Rule 2-12.1.a through .d is made while the game clock is stopped, such errors must be recognized and corrected by an official during the first dead ball after the game clock has been started properly

You forgot bad Hawkeye tattoo.

It's also the class of 2019 and rankings for that year either haven't been updated or don't go past the top 25 for some recruiting services (Scout and ESPN). He is 60 on Rivals, 52 on 247, and 38 on Future150. So, top 50 is more likely than not, considering he is still growing into his body.

He's #124 right now

I'd take Wieskamp in a heartbeat but not sure about the McCaffrey's and hell no to Garza. With Lewis coming in though and NWB going to be a JR, it's not like we have a huge need at SF. Good thing Fran's 2 kids and Wieskamp all play the same position, Fran is really good at stocking up talent in one position at a time, then having to play a mid-major PG all game every game.

Clearly.

Why "hell no to Garza"? Just curious...

What if they didn't have Pete Jok though? Yikes, Weiskamp isn't coming until 2018 and no more double teams or teams focusing their D on PJ.
Over the last 10 games Iowa is 6-4. He didn't play in 2 of those wins and only twice has he gone over 20 points. Iowa has a really young team and to be honest, I think they'll be fine.
