As of right now, I'm pretty sure Mason is under 40% from 2 in B12 play. Not so good when people don't foul him down there.

He's at 41.5% from 2 in Big 12 play. Morris is at 45.3%. A whopping 6 basket difference on identical 159 2pt attempts in Big 12 play.

I made the point that playing well on the big stage opportunities you have matters. Not sure how you got from that to what you posted.

And if Frank Mason was on Oklahoma, they wouldn't be where they are in the standings so year. Besides, didn't last year's Big 12 and National PoY play for Oklahoma?!?

Mason deserves all the accolades that he gets, but I wouldn't trade Monte for him. They're different types of player, as other posters have said. Mason is great all around. Monte is the best pure point guard in college basketball.

Mason has been great all year, so I think he's comfortably ahead for B12 POY.

Monte's February has been awesome, I think the's at 17.3 and 7.4 assists this last month. Oh, with a total of 4 TO's and I think one of them was the BS jump ball at Tech. If we win out and he has 2 more really good games, I think it'll be closer than people think.

He's been consistently hitting his mid range jumpers lately, which I think is what he needs to do to get paid in the NBA for a really long time.

Don't forget the atrocious over and back call against Tech. Think that one got charged to Monte as well.

Also, I got home just in time to watch KU pull down OU's pants tonight. The Phog was pretty impressive for those last 10 minutes, you knew the Sooners were done immediately.

yeah you could see it in their faces and body language once that run started they were in trouble.

4 turnovers in an entire month for a guy who is among national leaders in minutes per game with two of them clearly officiating errors. That's nuts. 2 turnovers in February.
