He hasnt consistently beat us. And yes, I like having a strong conference with strong leadership. Makes games much more fun to watch.
You havent heard yet? They are running the table at this years Big 10 tourney. 4 games in 4 days is no problem this year, I mean Fran is like 1-6 all time in the Big 10 tourney, but Im sure a tourney championship is possible.
The one guy is a doctor or something and he acts like that at every game. Not sure about Iowa but Iowa State has some pretty rigid policies in place for the big donors that sit on the floor. I can't say I've seen our court side fans act like that and it absolutely shouldn't be allowed. I get the random reactions to a bad call but that dude is all over the place.

They haven't consistently beat us. I'm pretty sure we are right around .500 over the last 7 seasons with Baylor. We've won a couple in Waco and they've won a couple in Ames, other than that the home teams have held serve, which isn't unusual. I would rather play a meat grinder schedule than a watered down conference slate. The Big 12 needs the bottom tier teams to be competitive and if Drew leaves, Baylor will probably slide back significantly.
I think Crean and IU part ways and he ends up at NC State and Alford comes home to Indiana.

Glad Iowa won, but Indiana might be the worst coached bball team I've ever seen and that is saying something. They committed the dumbest fouls just giving Iowa points that kept them in the game.
Any coach that even remotely looks worse than Fran is a horrible coach. I hope Fran stays at Iowa forever. He is a below average recruiter and an even worse coach. Watching Iowa fall back into the Licklighter years is going to be fun.

First of all, he took over a dumpster fire and in his second year had them in the NIT and fourth, fifth and sixth year in the NCAA winning two games. He has also taken four different teams to the NCAA tourney.
He was decent as long as he could get legacy recruits or guys from Iowa who are decent. After Jok leaves, they have next to nothing. It's going to be fun to watch the program go up in flames.
