Seemingly never ending Iowa MBB thread (still going.....)

l'd like to add.
"Once Hoiberg leaves for the NBA..."
"Adding Thug transfers won't work"
"Iowa does it the right way developing players for 4 years"
"Now that Hoiberg is gone..."
"Prohm is a mid major and will be McD or Lickliter"
"Prohm won't be able to recruit players"

The only consistent thing over the past 6 years is ISU being in the NCAA Tourney each year.

Can you imagine how insanely cocky they'd be if they had made 2 Sweet 16s, had a handful of all americans, 5/6 straight NCAAs and won the Big Ten tournament twice? They'd be putting themselves on the level of the Jordan Bulls.

There's an idiot on there arguing it's a single group of players who have gone to 6 straight. They don't need a better basketball program, they need to watch Sesame Street to learn counting.

If Royce, Ejim, Niang, Clyburn, Kane, McGee and Morris were all major contributors on the same team you're looking at a likely undefeated national champion. In this guy's damaged mind that's just one group of players.

It started out that ISU was all hired gun 1 and 2 year players that wouldn't work out...now it's one group of players who started together for 6 seasons.

Iowa fans have a hard time accepting the fact that for the last 6 years Iowa State has been a nationally relevant team and that we have been able to put team after team together. Sure, we will certainly regress some next year but to think that we are destined to head back to the Mcdoormat era is just dumb. We have a crazy passionate fan base and our arena has a nationally known nickname/reputation. Obviously Prohm can recruit and they will continue to do so. If anything Prohm's recruiting style will set us up for more sustainable success opposed to the plug and play system Fred used.

What is Hilton's nationally known nickname?

It is a sweet place though. I do wish Carver was half as loud as Hilton.

And this board says Iowa football fans have an inflated view of their program.

I'd be pumped for a NIT lock. Any logical iowa fan knew that March Madness wasn't really in the cards for this year.

Why not? Fran was building things the right way and brought in a ton of players in the 2014 and 2015 classes to reload this year

They are as rare as a logical isu fan.

Good come back.

I was expecting, "I know you are but what am I" or "I'm rubber and you're glue. Whatever you say to me bounces off and sticks to you"

However, I would have laughed if you responded with, "Your mom's a logical hawkeye fan!"

That would have been a good comeback, I blew it!
