The Last Jedi?

FWIW the opening crawl of The Force Awakens literally calls Luke the last jedi. Also Jedi is a religion/set of teachings. You don't need to formally be a Jedi to use the force.

If Luke is the last of the Jedi order, that's a real ****ing drag.

At the start of the movie I think it'll refer to Luke. Everything they've said has led to take. Whether he trains Rey or not could add another. Remember that Luke wasn't a Jedi Knight until the end of Empire.

IMO I wonder if they have something up their sleeve for his one. Maybe Luke is reluctant to train Rey. Seems he failed at training Jedi after ROTJ.

Getting off track, but I think Finn has the force too. The part in The Force Awakens before the huge red lasers (from planet death star) destroy the three planets you see him turn around from the ship and he hears screaming/terror before the planets are struck. It is very quick and subtle, but it totally happened.

IMO, he has the force.

I'm not sure if this theory has been discussed in other threads, but just something I would throw out there.

The title, is all about Luke. He IS the true "last Jedi." Doesn't mean he is going to die or will be the last one standing, etc... This movie is all about HIM and the first order being obsessed with finding him and him also teaching Rey/Finn. It's all about the last Jedi.

I think the title is cool.

I'm a Jedi and I'm not in this movie, so obviously it's the plural form. If I had to guess, the 9th film will be STAR WARS: ISUCubswin Life Story, a modern story of myself and how I've adjusted to life here, with "humans," or as we call you on my planet, **** faces.
