Has the big12 really looked all that tuff out of confernce this year?? Isu beat Iowa and cincy good wins but not great.. Kansas beats Kentucky (good win) lost to msu.. Wvu the 2 best occ where blow out losses. Texas tech did they play anybody worth noting? The big12 hasn't yet proven to me that they are indeed the best confence..
Roy, buddy 'ole pal. It's been awhile! Did Iowa's face plant scare you off? Or have I just missed you on here? Can't say anyone here really missed you.

....Second thought, welcome back! This board needs some comic relief once in a while.

I actually know hawk fans who thought Mich St in January without Valentine didn't matter.

Iowa has been milking those two hallow wins vs Mich st in the RPI for weeks.

Hawks are revving up their rationalizing engines for a potential loss already. Check out this thread, there is some pretty earth shattering inferiority complex going on with their hoops fans:

This guy should probably just shoot himself as opposed to living his hellish life in his mom's basement:

Great offensive players, don't bother to play much defense. They only run 6 deep and are often too tired to keep fighting late in games. Their roster is mostly transfers who quit on other teams, an attitude embraced by Cyclone fans and coaches alike. Their team leader is Georges Niang, who has racked up over 2000 career points while giving up over 3500. He acts like an idiot and may try to grab his opponent's genitals. Their old coach quit after losing to UAB, and after being a top 5 preseason team, they finished this year 10-10. Being in the Big 12 is the only reason they aren't a 9 seed. Purdue will be the most physical team they've played in months, and should win by 20+.

Their mascot is supposedly a cyclone, although if you look at it, its clearly a bird trapped in a cyclone. They proudly wear the colors of McDonalds/ketchup and mustard.

The guy is a fan of Woodbury who was recruited by Iowa along with Niang who said "no thanks" in the same class, and thinks Niang (who is now playing in his 8th NCAA game) has been a net negative 1500 points player.

Today was Burton's superbowl and uhl has to share minutes with cook and jok.

Burton's super bowl? Lmao..how so? Burton had a great game but he's capable of that..Uhl is not and never will be..ever. Iowa has a legit 2 players that are BIG level players.....2. Jok and Cook.

No one else would even see the court for ISU..

This Iowa team I keep hearing will be fun to watch? How so? They play no defense...turnover machine..little talent outside Jok and Cook...They might not even make the NIT..

They will be lucky to win 12 games tbh.

Sounds legit

So 3 of 5 starters would be hawks if we combined teams. That's probably about right. Moss would be 1 of the best 6 in either program too.

3 freshman. Future loooks good for iowa. ISU? Who knows. Maybe a few cast offs will make their way to ames. Good luck
