Nervous About Saturday

What does
You shouldn't have opened that can of worms. soon a hord of people much smarter than you will be on here to tell you how uneducated you are and the world is ending.

What does one need to do to become part of a "hord"? I like the sounds of that.

We are playing with house money this week. I expect to see a fired up team on Saturday. Does that lead to a W? Maybe but at this point we have lots of good vibes heading into the off-season. Worst case scenario we get blown out but I just don't see that happening.

Are you saying we have a lot to be Thankful for this week?

;)

Completely relaxed. So much further along and so much more hope than there was going into the final game a year ago. Can't even imagine the Cyclone hot stove hype if the season ends on a three game win streak. I will be a little nervous on September 2, 2017 until we prove we can get over the hump against the Panthers.

Absolutely correct, but I do own enough land and a backhoe to make anyone who upsets me disappear forever. That's how we handle misfits in Ohio. Then we will sit on the porch drinking moonshine and playing the banjo.

I can't argue that Ohio white trash is better than Iowa white trash. I'll give you that one.

If we win the game I'm gonna be a little pissed off honestly.... We had the chance to win a lot more Baylor, Okie State, Kansas State... There's 7. Throw in UNI... There's 8.

Seems like we can say the same thing about many years in ISU Football history. You can't be any more pissed off about it now than you normally would be, it's the first year of a new coaching staff. When it's past the first 3-4 seasons or so, that's when fans deservedly start getting upset.

A win could theoretically have them finishing 8th or better in conference depending on how other games turn out. Basically they were slated by virtually everyone to end up 9th. So with that and a 3 game win streak the kool-aid would be flowing during the off-season. Especially if recruiting continues to be good to great.

If Baylor beats Texas Tech, then ISU is locked in to 8th at worst, regardless of the outcome of the WVU-ISU game.

No real reason to be that nervous. West Virginia isn't going to be the difference between an 8 win season and a 2 win one next year. No matter what happens we are in a much better spot than we have been going into the offseason in some time

And the difference this year is you could see improvement as the year went by. Past years the team looked the same in week 12 as week 1

I'm the least nervous as I've ever been. I guess with competent coaches that happens. There is a lot to be excited about going into an off-season. The hype still seems to be as high as when Campbell was hired.
