Jake Campos Injured

I posted earlier that he broke a leg, but someone since has told me it's a broken ankle. Neither of those sources were doctors, so I'm not sure the severity or what not.

Girlfriend broke her ankle in February. Didn't walk til June and hasn't been cleared to run/ pivot on it. If it's a break, I'd expect the medical redshirt to come out

If it's lower leg/ankle he probably got rolled into and broke distal fibula.
Depending on break, could be 6(ish) weeks or done for year.
Either way, this sucks.

Yup. Could be anywhere from two months time off in a boot, to a surgery with plates and screws and out for four months. I had the latter.

First off, sad to hear this. Secondly...I'm . already worried about the expectation levels creeping up but it seems like in the past week or so since the media hype train started up full bore people are getting sucked in. I keep hearing the "B" word getting used more frequently which is insane.

This is a rebuilding year. A 1st time P5 coach year. Another year with a terrible o-line.

So PSA: don't get sucked in. This will probably help us in a couple of seasons.

This. It truly sucks for Campos, but having him in 2018 rather than 2016 is probably a better thing.
