2010 was a 8 win season Iowa. Where would that rank for mighty isu in terms of historic teams? Yep that year we beat the #12 team in the country from the so called mighty Big 12 in a bowl game. No the season didn't live up to expectations but more often than not, as I have shown KF does much better with expectations than isu fans can possibly see because that isn't on the pre-approved isu propoganda list.
34 - I spent 7 years at Iowa (not 1) and have had season tickets since 1988 (so been to more than 10 games). And before GTO or 34 chimes in on 7 years and attempts to equate that to my lack of intelligence or motivation, that was a 4 year double major business degree and a law degree that takes 3 years. Nice attempt at an insult though.
You mean it must suck to play in a conference that has more top ten finishes and NFL draft picks than the Big 12.

When you are as bad as isu, every game you play is difficult because you don't get to count a win against isu. So again when will your SOS ever translate into the Big 12 having more top ten finishes than the Big 10?
Sure it does. Aren't you trying to argue that the Big 12 has better teams than the Big 10 and that is why isu has such a tough schedule?

When you are bad as isu, the MVC would have been a more difficult schedule for you last year.
So tell which conference had more teams finish in the top ten. Then we will know which conference is better.

Just stop Historic. Apparently the Big 12 is the tougher conference. And ISU had a tougher schedule. So tough in fact that ISU shellacked a Texas team that beat Oklahoma. But I will probably agree ISU had a tougher conference schedule but to say the Big 12 is a better conference is beyond moronic. To say otherwise ignores every objective measure of comparison. The sad thing is the Big 12 is only going to get markedly worse. Texas is off the rails, KSU will be going south hard without their former Hawkeye assistant coach leading them, and Baylor may as well have the death penalty.

Ok Twins I agree on the ISU vs Iowa schedule. I conceded that. But conference comparison is not close and only going to get worse. Unless New Mexico and UCONN have cache I was unaware of previously. My God mate, read the fan and analyst reaction. Texas and Oklahoma are only staying in the Big 12 due to the easy schedule. Jeepers Twins, look at the landscape.
