Was Sam Richardson our QB last year vs. Iowa? Was CPR our HC? Mark Mangino our OC? Lol...wtf were we doing?
 
Can someone tell me the last time they decided who would win the championship, or how good teams finish at the end of the season based off top 25 in the preseason?

He has had outstanding classes. They have just always turned out to be busts. Like Dan Doering, Blake Larson, and the great no show Kyle Williams. Iowa has had a few highly ranked classes that were harbingers of lean times. Iowa needs to recruit guys with chips on their shoulder, not silver spoons in their mouths.
 
I love Hawkeye schedule debates. How many times in Ferentz career has he played a team ranked in the top 5 at some point during the season. answer is around 15. How many teams did ISU play that were ranked in the top 5 just last season the answer is 5. Oklahoma Oklahoma State TCU Baylor and Iowa. Injuries play a huge factor in post season rankings. Iowa State played most of those teams at full strength. ISU knocked Baylor QB out for the entire year. So it doesnt really matter when a team is ranked in the top 5 as long as they were ranked up there at some point in my eyes. When a team is ranked in top 5 and loses the team loses a lot of motivation because playoff or national championship is out of the picture. ISU would do well in the big 10 and would probably bowl most years. We would not compete for a title but match up with many more teams. National Championships by conferences since 1970 which is when the true poll system started. Big 10 Michigan 1 bo Schembeckler never one a national title. ohio State 2. Everyone else zip. Big 12 Nebraska 5 Colorado 1 Texas 1 Oklahoma 4. Don't even talk about new years day bowl games the big ten is affiliated with more jan 1 games than any other conference.

One word for 34. Delusional. Bring Twins back. He at least has a basis for argument. 34 should be banned as either past his bedtime or an insult to his own fans.

I already went through and looked at every Big 12 conference schedule and every team in the big boy conference plays at least 3 preseason top 25 teams. Your turn, does any other team in the country besides Iowa only play 1 preseason top 25 team?

LOL What was incorrect. I am sure you had zero idea that bo never won a national title at Michigan and that Ohio state only has 2. Leather Helmet days don't count. The year 1970 is used by all informed people because that is the year that the polls were reduced to Coaches and AP before that you had 15 different polls with each picking their own winner. Texas won a National Title before their bowl game and lost to Notre Dame in the bowl and Texas still counts it. Big 10 delusionalism is my favorite. When facts are given insults are made. I am sure you are looking up everything I knew off the top of my head. I assume you will be back in 4 hours or so after you research my facts and inform me that I was correct.
 
I would also guess that crash never attended more than 1 year at the university of iowa and has been to less than 10 games at kinnick That is a guess and that would be the only thing I was wrong about.

You mean like coming off a bowl win in 2001 and KF had a top ten finish in 2002. Or 2003 when they backed up 2002 with another top 10 finish. Or were you talking about 2004 when they backed up 2002 and 2003 with the conference title and yep another top ten finish.

Maybe someday isu should have a top ten finish before isu fans throw rocks at those who do. What is wrong cy twin isn't this in the pre approved isu propaganda?

The Big 10 has more top ten finishes and National titles than the Bug 12 since the 2002 season. Significantly more NFL draft picks as well. When will all this SOS awesomeness translate?

Never, it will never translate. And that's kind of the point isn't it? Just like the hoks were too beat up by MSU to do anything in the Rose Bowl. What would happen to the hoks if they had to play MSU every week?

I won't translate because it is a meaningless measurement for schools like isu. But when it is the only propaganda you have, you will tout it as if it was the nation title.
