Iowa Football Recruiting

I don't mind you, but when the same thing comes up day in and day out I apoligize if you are the straw that broke the camels back. I usually just stick to jabs and don't comment seriously one way or the other, but I just wanted to say my thoughts. I don't/never have ripped on Iowa for the Rose Bowl loss since there is enough of that going around. I just wanted to say my thoughts in response to Iowa fan's comeback and that was all.

I get it, it's been played out. However, when CyTwins is posting how ISU football offers are now "decent" simply because a new coach, it humors me, because the same thing was said when Rhoads came on board. He had the previous coaches recruits, had a couple 6 win seasons and bowl appearences, and then it went down hill. I think it's an awfully bold assumption to think that the new coach is automatically going to change the outlook of the Iowa State football program.

And, as I mentioned earlier, he does have some good recruits coming in, and I think he has a chance to turn the team around. Obviously, in a league such as the B12, with a lot of speed and a lot of talent, it'll still be tough to have any overly successful seasons for the first few years, but most sane ISU fans understand that.

It's almost as if CyTwins is posting that because he wants to elicit that exact reaction.....

Josh Turner. Best other offers from Wisco and BC. From all we know right now, not bad, not great. We'll see. Hopefully this doesn't mean we're out of the picture for the UK commit or flipping Boyce from UT.

All I said is if BC is a "decent" offer than so is ISU. ISU is 34th in the country in recruiting right now, BC is 52nd

Knew the momentum was going to slow down but Iowa over BC and 2 star on Rivals? Yikes
