Game of Thrones Season 6

I think you are overthinking things. Would be cool though. Would also be cool if Tyrion had a plan to massacre the masters but was playing koy until the right moment.

Tyrion is giving them enough rope to hang themselves. Hes a strategist ultimately. Letting all parties reveal their cards before he strikes. He plays the long game and thats why he is one of my favorites.

The Dany burning and not getting burned ... Again...is maybe a bit too much. Can she control when she doesn't get burned? Because we know she can be. I can't recall the episode but it happens. Each time it has been in front of the Dothraki. Maybe that is the key. Only Dothraki fires....(no I'm not serious).

She used to take her baths very very hot, and her attendants would warn her that it would scald her. It did not. She is a dragon. She cannot be burned at any time by fire. It's part of her gift.

I'm just glad her clothing isn't fireproof

Easily the best show on TV by a factor of 3x. Excellent episode. Did not see the last scene coming, but that was boss awesome.

But Meereen season 6 is getting boring. Give Tyrion something to do!

Indeed. My wife asked me, last night, if I was tired of seeing Dany naked. Sometimes I'm just shocked at how little she gets me.

This is basically it. The show is making Dany immune to fire despite the books not. Jon was the one that was burned in the early episodes.

I will have to disagree. I can't think of an example of Dany being burned in the books. The Targaryens have some sort of relationship with Dragons, that was maybe diluted, and not passed to all Targaryens like Viserys, but Dany cannot be burned by fire just like an actual Dragon.

This was an amazing episode, so many plot points that didn't just move but vaulted forward. I have a feeling we're due for a bit of stagnation as they set up their big episode (usually the 9th) but there's still a bunch of juicy stuff left in the four episodes until then to not be too boring.

I think the 9th episode will be the northern battle episode (with the last episode this season reflecting on the casualties and Bran arriving to tell Jon that the white walkers are coming) and between now and then will be both sides gathering support.

I think the season ends with Dany getting ready to sail for westeros.

I'm finally glad the Knights of the vale are joining the fray.

On a side note I was surprised to see the actress that plays Dant naked. I thought she refused to do any more nude scenes.

I was curious if she was using a body double like Cersei did.

Sweet Robyn sweeping in to save Sansa. I like it. I mean, the kid won't survive a fight, but I would love Sweet Robyn being Sansa's Knight in shining armor. She'd run the Vale.

The nudity I think was necessary to show again that she is the unburnt and added to the scene. I can see her agreeing to this, I don't think it was gratuitous.

No. Emelia Clarke has said in interviews that it was her. She had not done a nude scene since Season 3 and will not do more, but she saw this scene and was all in.

They probably need to find more ways to convince her for the upcoming seasons as well.

I thought she was burned when she rode Drogon out from the arena to the grass sea where Drogon was, for a lack of a better term, nesting. She clearly wasn't in the show, but I thought she was in the book.

That is not what I said. I said, "Oh, good. It's been four years since we've last seen Dany's boobs. It was due."
