Game of Thrones Season 6

The story really moved along quickly there in the first 12 minutes of the show today.

Had chills during during the first and last scenes. Wow what an episode.

Looks like the show is going all in on the Umbers being on the wrong side. The Knights of the Vale could make up for it...

RIP Osha.

At least they made it make sense with the Umbers feeling betrayed by Jon Snow letting the wildlings beyond the wall. Don't agree with it, but I can live with it.

You could cut the Tormund/Brienne sexual tension with a Valyrian knife. My favorite part was Dolorous Edd's "Whatever floats your boat" expression when he saw the way Tormund was looking at her.

If this show has taught me anything, it's that Sansa now dies. You don't get nice moments like that reunion without a kick to the nuts. Maybe she takes the Lady Stoneheart storyline and kicks some ***?

So I'm watching on the HBO Now app and the still-frame image for the preview clip for next weeks episode shows 4 Children of the Forest. I thought it was worth pointing out since they were not featured in the actual preview clip. Any ideas on their significance? Up until this point we have only seen one on-screen at a time ( at least I'm pretty sure that is the case). Awesome episode - really glad they are moving the Kingsmoot storyline rather quickly. Dany is a badass.

I saw 6 people in the preview that I have never seen. WHAT COULD THIS MEAN!!/????

Perhaps I'm overthinking this, but.... Perhaps the Umbers aren't with the Boltons - perhaps it's still just a ruse. Perhaps the plan all along was to send Osha in there to assassinate Ramsay and to have a smooth, quiet overthrow of the Boltons and turn Winterfell back over to the rightful heir - Rickon. What they didn't account for was Theon told Ramsay that Bran and Rickon was still alive and a wildling woman helped them escape. Now, while Ramsay wasn't expecting the Umbers to show up at Winterfell's front doors with Osha and Rickon, this was more of a pleasant surprise to him - he can now dispose of more Starks.

Perhaps it's even more convoluted. After all, Littlefinger is bringing The Vale to the North to liberate Winterfell of the Boltons. Perhaps somehow Littlefinger knew Rickon was with the Umbers, and perhaps after leaving Sansa at Winterfell, he went up and visited the Umbers and put this plan into motion.

I don't know - I just feel like something much deeper and more complex is going on here other than the Umbers have become traitorous bastards.

Or, like I said, maybe I am overthinking this thing.

I think you are overthinking things. Would be cool though. Would also be cool if Tyrion had a plan to massacre the masters but was playing koy until the right moment.

I don't think you are over thinking it, as the Umber's pledging allegiance to Bolton doesn't make sense. What makes me skeptical is that first, it is a tv show and is now being written like one, so I am doubtful of too much subtlety. Second, Ramsay is a well known torturer and hunter of humans and reviled in the North. That said, Rickon has been on his own for a long time, and would have to be a tough kid to have survived the north. So he could be in on it and rolling the dice. I don't think it would be out of character for Rickon to be a bit of a wild man at the age he is being portrayed at in the show. In the books he is still a little kid.

I think there is a great northern conspiracy. i just don't know how much they will delve into it in the show.

During her time in Meereen, Dany must have watched Carrie and thought it was a good movie.

The Dany burning and not getting burned ... Again...is maybe a bit too much. Can she control when she doesn't get burned? Because we know she can be. I can't recall the episode but it happens. Each time it has been in front of the Dothraki. Maybe that is the key. Only Dothraki fires....(no I'm not serious).
