Saw an email about a family movie night being hosted at Jack Trice. Showing Star Wars: Force Awakens.
First, cool idea. I assume they have done this before, but first time I noticed.
Second, and the point of this post, if you purchase a DVD, can you legally show this to a large audience, or is ISU paying for this right?
I was thinking of having a family movie night for the company I work for and did not want to get in trouble for showing a movie to 100+ people at our corporate auditorium. It would be free, similar to JTS, so maybe that is what keeps you out of trouble, not making money off the show.
