Those hypothetical neutral court matchups with ISU have been replaced with hypothetical Final Four matchups and national championships?
Iowa's January team could have easily kept up with either of those teams tonight. I wasn't impressed with unc or nova, especially down the stretch.
'What If's' are fun. Can only imagine how well Iowa would've done if they'd gotten to play a crappy 12 seed in the round of 32 and an overrated 1 seed who couldn't even beat a 10 seed in the sweet 16.
Probably would have lost to Temple.
Nah, I'm sure ISU would've gotten past Temple.
Um no. Neither team could have at their peak this season. Both teams run out of talent when facing teams like UNC and Nova.
Just glad someone FINALLY played Nova closer than Iowa did.
1. Nova
2. UNC
3. Iowa
4. Miami
5. OU
Kansas at 6?
I love how you argue the sarcastic rankings. You never miss a chance to call someone out.

That they are.
Since the clearly overrated 5 seed that lost to a 12 seed in the first round and the clearly overrated 2 seed that lost to a 15 seed in the first round accounted for the four best wins of a certain 7 seed's bloated RPI, that 7 seed would have been a 9 seed like it clearly should have been all along. If the overrated 7 seed hadn't had an inflated RPI all season long, it would have had a chance to play a no 1 seed in the round of 32 as a 9 seed and not needed a tip-in to beat a overrated 10-seed that was on almost everyone's last four in prognostications and could've avoided the 2 seed champion. Sure, if the overrated 7 seed was playing as a 9 seed it would've probably gotten throttled just as badly by a 1 seed since it would have drawn the 1 seed in the round of 32, but we're talking semantics at this point. Whether you lose by 19 or 30 or whatever, it's really the same. But like you said, the 'what if' game is fun.
