Lol. That's just a thing for the once vital, middling teams that have been shorn of their tradition and rivalries in a bloated, over-stretched conference to say. I feel like Iowa, MN, Illinois, and Purdue bang that "conference pride" drum pretty hard while OSU, Mich, MSU, Wisky, etc are just laughing at you.
Yeah I don't see Iowa winning too many recruiting wars against MSU or Maryland no matter how early they lose.
You never know. They almost beat out Michigan State for second place in the Ulis sweepstakes
I will guarantee right now that Kansas will not beat Iowa to get to the Final Four.
Of course I am. Iowa fan first, B1G fan second, especially when it comes to the tourney and bowl games.

Assuming this is rhetorical because pretty sure we all know the answer to this.
I was expecting indignant outrage from the 7 seed but so far the ones I have encountered in person fall into two categories: the ones that are happy and think they got an easy draw and the ones that are disgusted by the end of the season and think they got what they deserve, although I haven't run across the most obnoxious one I know yet.
**** Kansas. **** Texas. **** West Virginia. **** Oklahoma.
Baylor is cool in my book as long as Scott Drew is there. Texas Tech I don't really care one way or another.

I'll root for every team in the Big 12, no doubt about it. I still remember '88 when we had four teams in the sweet 16 (ISU included) three in the elite eight, one knocked the other out and we had two teams in the final four and championship game. And that was from an eight team conference. Utter domination and it was sweet.
