Re: Iowa MBB now a projected #1 seed

KSU is 40.

Neutral court? Weak.

Congrats on the miracle comeback in Ames, it was impressive. Upsets happen. Good to know your best road win is against #40.
Who has the most wins vs top 10 RPI this year?

Re: Iowa MBB now a projected #1 seed

You have 1 good road win. No credit is given for MSU. You caught them at the right time. They lost to ******* NU at home right after losing to Iowa, and NU is ******* terrible.

Sure it matters. Congrats, like I said, it was a miracle comeback and a huge win for ISU, as we all saw from the epic court storm. Just funny for you guys to go full contortionist try discrediting Iowa's wins over solid teams. RPI matters, until it comes to Purdue, then it really doesn't mean much because they don't deserve that #22 ranking. Winning at Michigan St. and Purdue doesn't mean much, but winning at KSU does. Sure, makes perfect sense.

You asked who Iowa States best road win was, I answered it even though you already knew. There would actually have to be students at Carver for a court storm to happen.

You going to tell me you think MSU was playing well either time Iowa played them? What if ISU had beaten a team and then TCU came in and beat that same team right after ISU did? I don't care what you say, because I know exactly what your response would be. Kudos for the Purdue win on the road.

TCU has a better RPI then Nebraska. I will wait for Gonzo to spin how #228 MN and #248 Rutgers are world beaters.

Iowa beats MSU at Carver by double digits and all you guys said was that it meant nothing because Valentine was out. Then Iowa beats MSU at Breslin, with Valentine, by more points than they won by at Carver, and again it means nothing. C'mon, it's a joke. No matter how meaningless Iowa's win @MSU was to you, it was still light years ahead of anything ISU has done on the road, because ISU can't beat anyone with a pulse on the road.

Again, Iowa State road losses are to 1, 17 and 20. You act like we have lost to crap teams on the road and that just isn't the case this year. Iowa States remaining away games are against 52, 24, 10 and 6.

I never said anything about ISU's road losses. I just said ISU can't beat anyone worth anything on the road, which is true. They can't. Are you saying ISU deserves more credit for losing on the road against 1, 17, and 20 than Iowa deserves for winning on the road against MSU and Purdue?

So the fact that MSU lost to Nebby at home, which has to be one of their worst losses in a decade at home, right after losing to Iowa means nothing. Clearly they were playing their best basketball at the time. Lolololol! Iowa has one solid road win, and other wise beaten up on a bunch of crappy teams and one good team that was at the bottom when they faced them. Congrats.

I'll give Iowa this, they have been very good at trouncing lesser competition. It will be interesting to see how they hold up in tight games against good teams. That probably won't happen until the Big 10 tournament

We just wont agree on this and that is ok. You caught MSU at a good time with their best player not at 100%. I didn't see the game at Purdue but I will give them credit from digging out of a hole and getting the win.

Re: Iowa MBB now a projected #1 seed

Da Fuq cares about road wins?

Last I checked, NCAA tournament games are on neutral courts. Hell some teams get to play in their back yard (you're welcome Iowa)

So we'll find out if Iowa can beat good teams when they play in their conference tournament against the same teams they've been beating by double digits? Makes sense.

Ugh. Why do we continue to do this? If you can't win the argument of who is having the better season, it seems the knuckle draggers in our fan base always go here. Just give it a rest man, one regular season game in a BB means nothing. UNI is NOT better than us or UNC for instance.

Don't get me wrong, the past years when we have scoreboard and obviously the better team, I'll kick Hok fans all day long. Just a pet peeve of mine to pull a typical UNI panther rant of "We beat you, We beat you, Nanananan, We beat you."
