*** #14 IOWA STATE vs #5 Texas A&M Game(day) Thread ***

Reigning defensive player of the year makes little effort to contest a layup half the time...watch his in game play not just his stat line idiot

Um, they way they called fouls today? Played a smart game.. Look at our foul totals we would have had guys fouled out with 15 minutes to go.

Niang looked slow the whole game. Refs didnt do that to him. He just didnt play well.

After everything else that gets shoved out there, when your best player doesn't play well, you'll get beat no matter what the other team does or what the officials are doing.

9 pts, 13 rebs playing with a bum knee.

Here come the idiots

I actually thought this was a bounce back game for McKay. Looked like his old self at times.

Niang and Nader made some bad choices. Monte could have been more aggressive because he did well when he was.

It's a HUGE mental test to play a talented team on the road, with fans going nuts (as they do in Hilton) and then have a different set of rules than the other team for long stretches. It gets into players heads when the officials suddenly say you can only take one step and the other team can take two. We had the game in hand and when the worst stretch of bogus calls happened we just cracked, then Georges having to miss huge chunks of the game contributed as well.

Plain and simple... we play too dumb to be a great team.

We're an above average team, but will never be great until we get our heads out of our a**es.

I think we were the better team today talent-wise, but just way too stupid for our own good.

ATM has more talent. Not as much experience, but more talent and speed overall from what I could tell.

Big 12 up 3-2. WVU, ISU and OU play on the road. WVU just suspended one of their better players. Big 12 at disadvantage, yet still up. KU and OU should win . How are they overrated?

Do the bottom 4 SEC teams sit this out? If so they need to win at least 6-4 or better every year to make it seem like a draw.
