I would love to have better point production from our bench as much as anyone. However, our losses have not come because of our offense. In our 4 losses our average score was 85 points a game. So personally, I would rather have better defensive production from our bench. I think Ashton is providing that role at the moment and hope others can contribute in this way also. Bench production does not always equal bench points.
Also notice the "weave" Prohm has implemented more and more. It is causing the defense to run more and switch more before really beginning our offense. It seems to be helping us get into our sets more easily.
Finally, in our losses (and poor defense) it seemed our players were more concerned with not fouling then with playing good D. The last 2 games we have had more foul trouble, but a much more aggressive and overall better defense.
Some really good adjustments from our team and Prohm.
