We gave up 60 points in a half...that's pathetic by any team's standards on the defensive end of the court.

89 points should be enough to win. Our offense was good.

If you really can't understand why people are more upset about our defense than our offense, then there is no point in arguing with you. It demonstrates that you have next to nothing for a basketball iq.

Why won't you just answer the question. If we give up 60 in the second half but we score 58 don't we win the game?

It's far more reasonable to expect us to not give up 60, than it is to expect us to score 58...you couldn't possibly be dumb enough to believe otherwise.

Our offense was good today, and our defense was terrible. That is why people are more upset with our defense than our offense.

I love this guy. The same one that said the loss of Naz a month ago didn't change his expectations and that depth was not going to be a problem.

Exactly. The amount of people on here that take anything the players say in the post game conference as some sort of definitive answer is stupid. The players are asked why they lost and people get ****** when they say they'll learn from it. What the hell else are they supposed to say? We won't learn from it? We don't know what the hell happened? We don't give a ****?

To answer your rhetorical question..If we would've scored 58 in the second half, we would've won..we didn't.

And you're laughing at people for being more upset with the defense than the offense...which is borderline r*tarded..

Yeah...but he's conceding that the opponent played harder. That's an odd thing to say, and it's not lapping it up...these are similar to what the team was saying last year.

Another gem from Thomas:
“I think at spurts in the game we play great defense and then at times I think we’re really lazy on D and we give up easy buckets, easy 3s,” Thomas said.

Is that OK too?

Do you think because the players say this that they are OK with it? That's perhaps the stupidest thing I've read on here in a while. It seems as though you think that the players just have to want it more. That's a pretty simplistic and stupid thing to think.

Again, what the hell do you want them to say. The players aren't perfect. So when they lose games, what should they say? They can't say that they played poorly. They can't say that they'll learn from it.

What should they have said today?

I thought Georges in the radio post game was pretty brutally honest when he said that this was on the players.

That's actually what my posts are implying...the players are taking it on themselves. Not saying they're OK with it...just finding it odd that they flat out say they're playing lazy on D and getting outworked 1/2 way into the season.


But keep it coming with personal attacks. It's impressive.

If we lose it is almost always due to a lack of "want to" and heart.
