I'm sure there are more Fred threads based solely on the whole "will he or won't he leave" thing. I started to post in the Matt Thomas thread, but I just couldn't do it. It is just the same thing over and over again.
Honestly, I'm not sure why you'd even start a thread praising him unless you're looking for views. You know it's just going to degenerate into yet another MT thread with the usual suspects.
When it comes time for the bachelor party, who is stepping up to organize this? This could be the only time in our lives that we actually get a formal invitation to the Pants party.

I love how the thread about Freds house has turned into some sort of ******* match that I can't even properly categorize. Some serious TMZ **** going down.

On here. I replied to a post in off topic and he has been stalking me ever since. He flew to Iowa and we met in July.
why are so many people butthurt in that thread? Fred is rich. He's going to buy a fancy house. He should, if that's what he wants. And no one cares that it's not what you would buy if you had a $5 mill salary or you think it's too bland suburban. When you buy your multi million $$ house, make sure to post so we can all give our opinions as well.
I still remember him making light of 9/11 with little regard for those of us who lost loved ones during the attacks. That guy is a remarkable piece of **** but in his own mind, ya, poster of the year material.
I should clarify that saying it's not the type of house you would want is fine, it's the ones saying "oh I never thought Fred would be so pretentious" and stuff like that.
I think his wife has more to do with the big, fancy house rather than Fred. Nothing wrong with that but her personality comes off as that type.
Unless posting something about his abs (which are universally loved), I'm scared to post anything in those threads also. it just seems pointless. Maybe there should be an opt-in forum for Matt Thomas threads as they are as polarizing as religion and politics.
I think they wanted him to paint it Cardinal and Gold with different Cy statues in the yard. Roughly the ISU equivalent of this guy.
I can't get myself out of that thread. It's sad, because I think I've become a fan of Matt more because of all of the unfounded hate he gets more than because of how he is as a player.
I think it's more about people not being able to come to terms with Fred being gone. It's like when people talk trash about an old girlfriend. After awhile, the story goes from "I can't believe she dumped me" to "Yeah, I kicked her to the curb. She wasn't worth my time. What, that's her on the phone?" <sprints to phone>
I thought the house design was pretty cool looking. My wife and I actually found a similar layout with a horseshoe-style ranch house with a pool in the middle (the opening was facing the back, though) and said that if we ever built and had the land, we'd consider the option.
I like the people that say "think of how long that would take to clean or do that yard work!"
If you can afford that house, you're paying people to do those things for you. I doubt you'll see Fred or the twins out the mowing the lawn.
