I have a bad case of stadium throat today. At first I thought I was sick than remembered I went to an actual basketball game in person and this what my throat feels like the next day. I did cover my ears a few times.

Probably because he was standing next to me. I'm not really a quiet, demure little fan...

I would love for us to play on the armed forces classic, it would be awesome to see some Cardinal and gold camo unis.

I was kind of watching that game at the bar last night after our game, wondering if I would spot our son, who's a USMC captain stationed in Oki. We heard from him later last night - they gave the officers a bunch of tickets; most of them were passed down to the junior marines.

Apparently the court was wet/slick, so they called the game at halftime...odd...

And does not notice or mention me.

I missed some context clues from previous posts that you were sitting together.

Looking at my DVR this morning...the guy I see standing next to KC is a lot younger looking than I thought you were. Which is meant to be a compliment...

Final tally from the morning shopping...

2 hippie turkeys
2 hippie legs of lamb
1 18 LB ribeye loin
1 non-hippie turkey (which was free since I spent an arseload on the ribeye.

Are hippie turkeys the ones that are hemp fed?

Finished on 'shrooms.

Actually, now that I look, this one's just free range, so it's not near hippie enough for the real hardcore hippies. That would require:

Organic
Free Range
Heritage breed
Vegan fed

and it would probably also be like a hundie for one turkey.

And that turkey probably plays hacky sack.

hope bulbs like gravel. Got about 4 inches down for on area and it was a lot of gravel. Think it's because the downspout runs under the area. Put some potting soil in to help them out but they aren't as deep down as I'd like.

Shall find out in the spring, I suppose!

In good news, one of our straw mats to help hold the grass seed in place looked funny and bulgy.....there's all this luscious grass underneath! So I took two of those off and now we have a very nice strip of grass in our yard. It's not much, but considering this was an area that badly washed out twice after seeding (kind of the slope coming down from the patio), it's nice to have something there now.

Sounds like you've had a lot of fun today!
