Went to Joe's Crab Shack tonight, evidently the servers no longer get tipped there. On the receipt there was a note that if anything extra was left, it would be donated to charity.

With the new policy, servers at the selected restaurants will now earn hourly wages of $12-$14. In order to support this new wage model, the menu prices will increase from 12 to 15 percent. Raymond Blanchette, president and CEO of Ignite Restaurant Group which owns Joe’s Crab Shack, said menu prices are rising only marginally with the elimination of the tip, so ultimately people could potentially pay less.

Went to the men BB game thread read the last 2 pages what a bunch of grumpy people. Nice attendance at the WBB game last nite. Nice job by all that went to Sioux Falls it looked great on tv.

55 what is you view on the tip situation? I've never been a server. I've got a friend whose SIL is one in Duluth at a nice place and she does way better than the numbers they want to pay.

Uuugggghhhh.

I was see-sawing about going to the game today, but someone who suddenly remembered this past Tuesday "Oh! I can't work Saturday!" leaves me to work this afternoon/evening.

Then yesterday, a friend texted me that she got tickets through work and wanted to know if I could come. Probably pretty good tickets, too. Goofball 21 yo kids who suddenly remember they have a wedding to attend.

I have a bad case of stadium throat today. At first I thought I was sick than remembered I went to an actual basketball game in person and this what my throat feels like the next day. I did cover my ears a few times.
