Here he was trying to convince us that he was just a boring old poor govt employee. Never mentioned Frank Lloyd Wright designed his house.

Uh-oh...the resident L.A. gonna have a field day with calling that a FLW design.

That was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw the angles...Frank Lloyd Wright...

Boxster, seriously sweet pad.

The layout for my house is similar, except for the landscaping, charm, acreage, square footage and originality. Imagine a refrigerator box with a small attached garage and a slight squirrel infestation and you've pretty much nailed it.

I just thought it looked fancy and something like the one up in Quasqueton.

Hey, to us uneducated masses, it does...I'm just saying, to a design professional, (especially the snooty architects I encounter once in a while due to a friend) they'll fillet you for making such a faux pas.

I was at a party and mentioned that a friend was an architect on a certain project, and one of her co-workers huffed "She was a research assistant", to which I said (with a few beers in me) "I don't care about your splitting hairs...she IS an architect, and she DID work on that project...that's all I'm saying"

Yeah GTO, go ahead and say that/ I'm sure your wife'll love it.

CG, what did you think of the ending of my fair lady? I saw it again 2 years ago and really didn't like the ending. Higgens is a ******* ******* and Eliza should have married what's his name.

oh and 00, roundball is back and he's still masquerading as you.

I have never believed that she married him. I think they were just really close friends and it didn't get that far. Mostly because of how much they fought. I could be wrong. I need to dig out my dvd.

whoops, I'm really sorry about that. Looking at when you posted I figured it was over. It's a little ambiguous. But it's strongly implied she does. Frankly if you want to watch to the end, just turn it off when she leaves him and says he won't see her again. It's a much better ending that way.

I do kind of agree with this, but on the other hand I think it fits the culture of the time.

When I worked in the private sector I used to live in this:

Now that I work for the government I live in this:
