She had 9/10 pants and a very big bra
On the neighborhood Mexico trip last Spring, Mrs. JC (6 foot tall) and neighbor (5 foot 5, we'll call him JS) were talking to a couple they met from Chanhassen, MN.
During a break in the conversation JS leans over to Mrs. JC and says, "Let's pretend we're married." Mrs. JC replies, "They'll never believe that."
The conversation starts up again and the couple asks if they're married. Mrs JC replies, "No." JS adds, "We're just having sex."
I expect Pants to reply similarly. My feelings will be hurt if he doesn't.
The first few weeks were ok - basic triangle stuff, right? I want to say the second half of the semester was trig, but in any case, when you had to start writing corollaries or proofs or whatever..........I literally could not tell you one thing about that now other than if A=C and A=B, B must =C.
Not to get cavey (seriously, why does this topic even have to be cavey) but the more I learn about it, the incorrectly named "common core" math appeals to me - focusing on building blocks/concepts and teaching you how to manipulate and understand why vs. memorize. I did great in math as long as it relied on memorized things. I bumbled through Algebra, doing ok with things like equations but then it completely went to **** when I got to geometry. Probably didn't help that my spacial reasoning is not great. Or the home schooled part. Though I may not have done well with it in a live classroom anyway.
We do a lot of things with our friends who live a few blocks away. They go to our church, and she works there. She's the outgoing one in their marriage, I am in ours, so a lot of times, she and I will be up front on things, Mrs.00 and her husband will be hanging back. As well, her husband and I have a mild resemblance (other than him being like 6" taller than I). More than once, people have thought his wife and I are married. I'm all NOPE! She's great, but no way I'm trading in Mrs.00 for her.
Probs preggers
I was rocking a suit and snoopy tie today in criminal law. We were giving closing arguments in a rape case and as the prosecution I went fire and brimstone. Our class is so large we had 6 juries and four of them hung (couldn't reach a decision) and two were acquittals. Our professor said he's never seen a guilty verdict using this case, but later told me he thought I might be the first. It was fun, so it looks like I might have to consider becoming a prosecutor.
