Mondaaaaaaaaaaaaay. Forgot my phone, DH was sweet and met me with it. I kinda want to listen to Christmas music. What is wrong with me?!

I kinda always want to listen to Christmas music. I force myself to hold off until after Thanksgiving. Christmas decorations are not allowed to go up until after Thanksgiving. The weekend before is acceptable if we go out of town for Thanksgiving. However, the house lights go up very soon as you never know when the roof will turn to snow and ice.
 
Leftover Halloween candy at work. Both good and bad.... I used it as my breakfast this morning. Now to stay away from it the rest of the day.

So, just before or after big Cyclone win? Causation or correlation?

This, drinking coffee and eating a Snickers here in Golden Valley. I am rationalizing that eating junk food in the morning is better than getting sugary junk food in the p.m.

Plus I think it will be nice enough to bike later today....not too late since it is freakin' sunset at 5.

I think the worst part about it is that I'm alone. So pants was right. But I am gonna head over to a sports book and put $50 down on ISU to the final four or something similar.

Freshman year I was playing with some friends at school and one of my friends had her high school sister visiting. We'd have her do that if she didn't know what something was and we didn't want to explain it.

For some reason I thought it was during the middle of the night. From what I've heard, they swarmed the checkpoints, but the border guards hadn't be told yet. One of the lead guards tried calling his superiors but couldn't get an answer. He decided he didn't want to be known as East German officer who ordered the shooting of a bunch of protesters so he let them through. There is so much that could have gone wrong that night.

edit: I was close, but left out a few things (originally they only let a few through and stamped their passport so they couldn't return, but when more demanded to be let through Harald Jäger, a lieutenant colonel, just started letting them through)

Caught up on some of the other threads from the weekend. I'm not a true fan. Go Hawkeyes!




It feels dirty just to type that. ****Iowa.

Also, I better not let those people know that I'm going to a Nebbie game next weekend.
