Whatever you say, psycho.Psychopath and sociopath are not the same thing.

Because you're taking the "loved one" part out of the equation by not looking at them as a loved one.
Man, Hawaii is a dangerous ******* place.
Same here. This is why I'm not president.I don't get this. They are either a loved one or not. If you can look at a loved one as a complete stranger, chances are they are not a loved one. I could never look at my wife or daughter as just another person, regardless of the scenario.
Here's another one:
You're standing next to the split of a train track. There's a passenger train approaching. There's a problem with the rail it's heading to and it will derail and crash if it continues there. The only way to prevent the crash is to switch it over to the rail you're standing by. But right next to you on a rail, there's a person that's been kidnapped and strapped to the track. They're begging and pleading with you to please help them, to save them, to do anything you can to save them from this, but you can't get them off the track. You have two options. You don't switch the track and the passenger train derails and crashes but you've saved the life of the person. Or you switch the track, the train full of people doesn't derail, but it kills the person on the track that's begging for you to save them.
What do you do?

Hey, what's the deal with Roundball impersonating you today?
I've heard a variation of this that it's a school bus of kids stuck on the tracks. In that case, I'd probably do whatever is actually physically possible to keep everyone from dying. And just like the loved one choice, I'd still feel a lot of guilt over the people I 'chose' to let die. But I could more easily live with that guilt vs. knowing I let DH die. So I think that makes me less than a psychopath.
Actually, I'd probably let the train derail and save the kidnapped person. People on the train may live. Happens all the time.
But really, I'd be like **** this fake scenario, I'm going back into my reality where I don't have to make silly psych test decisions. Ha!
They're not more important in general, just more important to me.It's understandable that you'd feel that way!
Let me try to appeal to the emotional part of it.
Why is that one loved one of yours any more important than the 15 other people, who likely all have other loved ones as well. In the grand scheme of things, won't there be more hurt and sorrow from the accumulation of all of the loved ones in this world of those 15 people as opposed to the 1?
They're not more important in general, just more important to me.
Yeah, but I'm fine with that, if there were 15 people hanging from 1 rope and one of my son's hanging from another off the edge of a cliff or whatever I'd cut the rope with the 15 people before you got done telling me the directions.Exactly. And there's nothing wrong with that. Pretty much nobody would fault somebody for making that decision. But techically it's selfish. You're letting 14 more people die so you don't have to deal with the anguish of losing a loved one.
It's understandable that you'd feel that way!

I just assume the other 15 people are ******** that kick puppies.

That was almost word for word what Nickels told me.
He's got the same Winchester image on his signature and the same 96% loaded under his username. At first glance, it totally looks like you!???? I have no idea, probably grumpy that I told him he was on my ignore list whatever it was, a few days ago...which is now funny because I didn't even see it, because he's on my ignore list. So maybe he's trying to get me back or something...
I saw something earlier about costume and impersonation, but saw it was in response to him, so kinda shrugged and moved on.
I mean, what's he doing? I could always report him, I guess if he's being a real terd....
This is actually almost on the thinking of psychopaths as well. There's no right or wrong answer to the question, it's the amount of difficulty you have coming to the decision. Little to no difficulty tends to lead to black and white thinking.
That too. And my hairline has receded more than any president since Ike. These three things are holding me back.Well, that and 90% of your incriminating posts on here
