this is good too. Part of the reason I had trouble (well, it was video so that makes it more difficult) was that the teacher was a mumbly, grumpy Korea veteran who spent too much time asking students to repeat their questions. Of course the teacher still actually teaching at the local high school also taught my mom and she and others did not think he was a good teacher and learned pretty much nothing there too. Lose-lose.

If you are having trouble, definitely ask for help. I've heard Khan Academy is a really great resource if you want to look around on your own a bit.

so I took that Com Sci class and had DH pretty much do all the Excel projects for me in exchange for help editing his English papers.

My first internship (where I'm at now) was heavy on Excel and Access. I was in the interview like suuuuuuuuuuuure I've worked with it. Ended up pretty ok, I learned a lot on the job.

Com Sci...I missed the midterm (wrote down wrong deadline) and still got an A. Never really had to do excel, I just chose to make my own spreadsheets on the job and my job is way easier now. Shhhh...don't tell.

I think you've just bumped up a few spots on CG's list of replacements if DH doesn't work out.

Are you doing the best you can and everything you can (and I don't really need to know your answer)? If so, there's no shame in that then. Not everyone is going to be good at everything and the only thing you can do is try your best.

But outside of what 2015 and others have said, classes that you dislike also teach you the valuable skill in doing you best even if you don't like the subject/job. Because there are going to be classes in college that you don't like or parts of your job you don't like. No one's going to care that it doesn't interest you, or you don't like that part, you still have to do well.

She should just go with William. It gives you at least seven different options for names.

Oh and CG, it lets you be trendy and call your kid Liam without everyone judging you for being the 100th parent to name their kid Liam

Heh...I used to joke that a college degree is often just as much about proving to employers that you'll do things you don't want to do and don't make any sense just because you're told you need to do them.

Flashback alert! Need to look for picture of me teaching Crazy White Woman #2 how to use Lotus 1-2-3 in her office in Dallas, Texas*. Back in the days of having to write little macro programs to do cool stuff.

* Hey, 2015, this is why I know Dallas gals wear high heels to grocery shop. Not CWW2, she was not from Dallas.

That's part of how I view my thesis. Am I going to need to write more 100+ page papers about German foreign policy? Probably not. But it shows I have the skills and more importantly work ethic to complete projects like that

Oh ok. I knew people that did that. One of them went by atticus (his middle name) instead of john (his first name) because he liked it more
