I still don't get why everyone assumes Morris is going Pro. Even he says he's staying all four years.

Hogue, who is gone, was our 3rd post. Who was our coach last year. And let's not act as though the lack of size didn't hurt us at times
He's going to go pro if he's pretty sure he'll be a 1st rounder.
He's not leaving early becuase Mann didn't stay, as Hines and others have speculated.
He's not going to stay for 4 years because he's hell bent on staying all 4 years no matter what.
After the season, he'll do what all borderline NBA guys do and evaluate his chances and decide from there.
I'd say 60/40 he stays but if he goes, that probably means he really improved his game and that can only mean good things for our season, IMO.
Who is this Louisiana Tech kid that came up and visited Ames recently? I'm assuming a sitout-a-year transfer?
I don't get it either but I figure they are just taking a 'prepare for the worst' approach. Have a PG ready in case he does leave & if he doesn't then that guy can just learn under Monte for that year like Monte did under Kane.
What transfers out there were starting over Niang and McKay? Typically the types of recruits you are talking about transfer to START, and to be stars.

I didn't know you could see the future. Just because he isn't right now doesn't mean he won't be.
After other coaches, I think his verdict is out for a year. Will he be able to recruit to Ames? Will thge quality be B12 quality?

Yeah, once La Tech lifted the restrictions and that same day it was reported he had the visit with Miss St. lined up I expected him to end up in his home state. Looking more like the last scholly will be held for a mid season transfer.
