This is what makes your fans so enjoyable. A McKay or a Cooke or a Burton or a Kane always sucker punches you and you don't even know they are coming or who they are.
90% of your fans had no idea ISU had the eventual Big 12 DPotY sitting out when they won in Carver last year.
Care to explain? Kwood walk on, NN, and a bunch of misses on transfers and grad transfers.
Unless I dreamed it, I think Nick Babb transferred here from Arkansas in April.

You realize in last years Iowa/ISU game that ISU had no transfers starting and only one that played a single minute. Iowa on the other hand, their best player was a transfer. I guess you guys are looking for a new pitch as well.
I hope we never sound this idiotic hyping up our football team to them. Then again when was the last time our football team had a 1-4 and soon to be 1-5 stretch against Iowa? Probaly have to go back to the end of their streak in the 90s.
You're right that would be idiotic. A lot of ISU fans have sounded idiotic in recent years but with Fred's departure that's soon to change after this year.
What does this even mean? Fred leaving doesn't change the fact that ISU basketball has absolutely taken Iowa to the woodshed and will likely continue at least this year while people like yourself have looked like rationalizing morons.
Yeah, it's really tough being ranked for the past 700+ days consecutively in college basketball, going to the NCAA 4 straight, winning two B12 tourney's in a row, going to the sweet 16, getting top 5 and top 10 predections for '15/'16.
If only ISU could lose a play-in-game, go 1-4 against Iowa, never challenge for our conference in 30 years, and beat Davidson as our crowning achievement we'd be happy and stress free, that's the promise land I've been told by your type.
