Marble regressed...
You realize you responded to the wrong person, then said that I'm a nimrod.. yes?
Do you need help? Ask one of your brethen for help. Please.
You're going to make more than 50% of dunks and 10 foot jump shots, which was AW game.

From getting tons of love his Junior year to last pick in the draft...that's regression at it's finest.

He absolutely did regress..from junior to senior year...next?
Hilarious that this thread has now gone on for 20 pages for a kid that has made a verbal commit to a school way too early to get too excited about. He may be a good player in a couple of years, but face it.....if he really is top 25 or whatever....Kentucky, UNC, Kansa, Duke, etc.... will likely come calling. Let's see what happens then.
It's just hilarious that so many hawk fans come over here trying to brag this up, yet they want to talk about ISU as being little brother. Comical.
But, I'm sure Woodbury, Mike G. and company will have no problem beating ISU this year, now that CFH is gone. After all, Fran is every bit the coach Fred is/was and Iowa has really been just as good of a team as ISU the last 5 years or so. Plus, we all know that Iowa's program has gotten just as much national attention in recent years as ISU, right?
Hell, I bet this year, Woodbury might improve so much that he will even have more blocks than Monte.......now that will put ISU in their place!
I'm not at all, I'm just thinking it's not going to translate to the NBA at all. But being 1st fiddle in a band of absolute hacks like the Hawkeyes were last year is nothing to write home about.I wont argue with you there, because that was his game. He created mismatches and went to the hoop. I hope you arent making that out to be a bad thing.

Is "next?" a plea? As in, "Please stop letting me dig my own hole, can we move on?"
I've witnessed some of the dumbest debates in Cyfan history, but Perky and UofICy are giving them a run for their money.

Who would you say was a better college player Ejim or White?Got ya. But this isnt about translation to the NBA, its about good players under Fran that didnt regress. As far as his game goes, I agree, unless he improves his shot, he's not big enough to bang, or quick enough to beat guards off the dribble. But we are talking about NBA type guys here. Still doesnt mean he wasnt a stud in college.
You keep saying that. HOW did he regress? Just because you keep saying it, doesnt make it true. Want to look at some numbers? He improved is PPG, APG, TOPG, FG%, and 3PT% (just to name a few), all while playing four less games. Look at the numbers. Now, how in the WORLD is that regressing?

What does that even mean? Last time I checked, Fran won us a tournament game, and has improved every single year. Why is is so hard for some of you to admit Iowa isnt some cellar dweller anymore? I have no problem admitting ISU is playing at a very high level right now.
