We should hire them all and then they draw straws to see who is head coach and then the rest make up the staff as follows.

So we should take the candidate who was rejected by Alabama and Florida? Even though he is an Alabama graduate and has deeo roots in the South.

You must hate the TJ is even getting an interview then, something he couldn't get at Drake.

Shouldn't concern you. We are not hiring for either of those two jobs.

Well, UF hired the LA TECH coach who is pretty good himself and Alabama hired the ex nets and mavericks coach Avery Johnson. So, not too concerned about that.

A lot of great coaches in that price point (TJ isn't even in the bargin bin, but even a candidate like him can end up being very good). If our search group is in need of using a current high salary as a metric of an ability to win at ISU we are ****ed. A lot of overpaid coaches that are a product of circumstance IMO.

Murray State is also in the same conference as those teams, so it's an even playing field. Just like he would have here. Blatt isn't doing bad in Cleveland for having no NBA experience and coming from a lower level of basketball. And yes he has a stacked team, but so does Iowa State. If you can recruit at Murray State, you can recruit here.
 
I don't think Eustachy's buyout is 4.5M this far into his contract is it? Unless they renegotiated an extension? From my recollection the buyout dropped after a certain amount of years.

Lead recruiter McMahon left this spring for La Tech. He would not be coming with Prohm. Prohm was at Murray State as an assistant prior to becoming HC......promotion from within......imagine that. And is pretty much his only experience at the one school. He is an Alabama graduate. Roots are in the South. Don't know how that would translate to Ames, Iowa.

Murray State couldn't even make the NCAA with a 16-0 league record and 29-6 record overall. They made the NIT and made it to the Quarterfinals. Whoopty freaking do.
