Recruit Lists v2.0

Yeah you guys are right. Baylor has had a very difficult time landing quality recruits under Drew.

(Put that in comic sans for you guys)

Living 80 miles from Baylor and attending the ISU gm, and a few other each year, I would be shocked if a 4 star fecruit from MN wants to go there after visiting...pure football school, with most bball recruits coming about a 5 state radius

Sounds like they are all monitoring the Hoiberg situation, hope Mann work some magic.

Beside the point really. I understand Drew pulls in good recruits consistently, but it can't hurt if he visits there during the year.

In light of the new Hines article, I'm very concerned about our recruiting going forward. Now may be time to pay the piper for the horrible HS recruiting we've had for the last two years (mainly because Fred couldn't commit in all likelihood).

We have two open spots and will probably have 5-6 more next year.

It's very late in the game for the good 2016 players. Most of the ones we're recruiting have probably been in wait and see mode for some time with Fred's lack of commitment.

Unless the new coach is someone with a big name or really insane recruiting ties, I don't see this ending well.

Fred basically quit recruiting awhile ago and it's going to really hurt us after next year.

I don't think Fred quit recruiting, but it's a hard sell to players that aren't 1 & done's if you can't commit to at least being there for 2-3 years. That's probably the biggest reason why our HS recruiting seemed to only focus on 1 & done players recently.

Bank on 3 spots at Georgious T most likely is not back. Fred did quit recruiting ( he was not going to lie about being here for sure,) but that is why TJ was brought back, to get ahead of all of this as Jamie saw it coming, maybe he knew....

Good thing we're in on a bunch of them.

Minimum is 6 with as high as 8-9 scholarships that have to be filled in the next 12 months. If I'm TJ, my preferred option would be for ISU to hire a short term, older guy like Floyd, etc and work under him for 2-3 years.

Build your recruiting base up, then take the reigns.

You don't want to blow your first and possibly only shot at being a HC if you're set up for failure.
