Higher than Bridges, Winston and Coffey. Yakwe dropped to #153 and he just took a big jump in the latest Rivals ranking.
We have the potential to sign a crazy 2016 class and we really need it. I hope everything works in our favor. It will be tough though since we're competing with the big boys now.
Should be coming off a great season with lots of available PT. We could still have a decent core too of Monte, Burton, Cooke, and Thomas. Should be an attractive landing spot for some of these guys!
Rivals is usually the most reliable as far as offers go. ESPN is the worst about having offers updated. Xavier Simpson has us in his final six teams and they don't even have us on his page anywhere.

Yakwe could look real nice with 6-7 spots to fill next year and more uncertainty about Fred. This dance he's playing with the NBA is killing recruiting.

I don't know why everyone is saying the NBA loving Fred is killing recruiting unless he's telling recruits he's leaving, which I'd assume he isn't. Unless he just isn't recruiting anymore(besides the obvious he's not at the moment after heart surgery), then yeah I could see your point.
I agree the silence from Fred is deafening. It indicates not IF he jumps to the NBA, but when. His health and the opportunity will determine if it is this year or next. I wonder if jumping to the NBA might be easier over the next 3-4 months on his recovery from heart surgery.
That said, it seems obvious to me that TJ is the coach in waiting and will recruit his guys and leverage his connections. We will move on from kids like Yakwe and focus on Midwest kids and jumpstart our prep school recruitment.
The lack of clarity hurts. Fred may not know what his plans are yet himself and he's not telling recruits he's a lock to be here next year, I'd bet.
Bingo. It has always hurt recruiting some but right now it has to be close to a stand still until this is resolved.
If it happens again next year, you can basically forget recruiting kids that have other decent offers.
Why sign up to spend 3-4 years at a school with a coach that obviously wants to coach in the NBA and could be gone any moment?
