JTS construction webcam?

Unlikely. But they will go to see the stadium. Not the team.

Funny. Not sure how many Cyclone "fans" ever went to see the team throughout our history. From what I always heard, it was the tailgating, the game day atmosphere, etc., etc. Rarely, if ever, did I ever hear Cyclone fans say they went to the games because we had an awesome team.

That isn't the rendering for the 2000 proposal.

When have we had an "awesome" team?

Finally found it, deep in the thread from when the plans for the current project were released in Spring of 2014. Some great highlights also. As someone else said the above pictures weren't from 2000, I think they were part of Pollard's original plans. Can't believe how much better the current south endzone will be than this.

Did they remove the all red bleachers? Just took this shot from the webcam and it sure looks like it unless lighting is playing a trick.

It's the lighting. They are still red. It happens every day.

Alex Halsted has this on Twitter. This view truly shows Jack Trice finally becoming a Big 12 football stadium.

Wow. Absolutely wow! That is an awesome shot. Can't wait to get one with it full of fans during a game!

I hope we can get an aerial shot on game day when the lots and stadium are jam packed

Just back from a quick trip to Ames and drove in off Highway 30 onto University Avenue. As you drive close to the brick gateway the new "Iowa State University" signage on the back of the south scoreboard just pops out at you. This really does make a grand impression as a front door to the university. I can't wait to see it after the entrance plaza is constructed in future phases.
