Clayton Custer Transfering

I'm not surprised CC transferred. He seems like he has learned a lot, and will be a serious contender for a school like Wichita State. He already has a head start on putting the weight on, and a year of practice against Monte Morris. Don't know many people that are going to be much more attractive that than for a PG at a mid-major school. Of course, this is conjecture that he will actually go to a mid-major. Whatever his decision is, may he have good fortune in his endeavors.

Are you aware that Wichita State is still playing in the NCAA tournament and we aren't? I suspect that Custer would find himself in a similar spot at Wichita State as here. This tells me that he is not going to a top mid-major, unless he is going there for other reasons (Pitt).

Who knows? I honestly don't think it is that Custer can't play at a big time school. I think it's that Custer is playing behind an elite point guard for another year at least.

Unless he's thinking he can go to Wichita State, redshirt next year while Van Vleet finishes out his eligibility, then become their RS Soph point guard in 16-17. Granted, I don't know anything else about the Shockers' depth or who they may be recruiting in Van Vleet's position.
 
Naz tweeted this today so Custer is apparently still in Ames. Also noticed Deonte Burton is a grown man

Yeah, I don't recognize a couple in there either, but I didn't want to look stupid, so I didn't post it right away.

Who is the guy in the bottom right and also next to Custer?

That dude is just friends with the team. He's from Milwakuee. I'm sure he's connected via McKay and Burton.
