I'm fine with court storming. But let's make sure we don't do any "f*** the jayhawks" or "over-rated" chants. Those are lame.

Yeah it has been such a long time since we beat them. I mean the last time we played in the Big 12 Tournament we only smoked them by double digits.
Enjoy the game and rush the court when we win.
1. Lots of anticipation for the atmosphere. Recruits who are watching will remember the exposure and the sweet celebration with the players afterwards. They won't look negatively at the school or program. If anything they will be more excited to join. 18-23 year olds love the attention.
2. If people give the "act like you have been there before" speech just shrug it off and say we were having a great time celebrating a big win. If a person wants to clap and walk out, more power to them. Recruits, players, media, and fans all suffer in that situation.
3. I can't make the game, but when we win I would be out there and I wouldn't feel ashamed one bit. The players entertained and made me proud for 40+ minutes so I would return the favor and go crazy with them! This is Hilton man. I believe that Johnny wouldn't expect any less from the most rambunctious fan base in the nation on Game Day!

It's a regular season home gm. We should expect to win and it would look foolish to rush the court....but when has that mattered to college kids

Good job students. Even though it's fun to storm, it's more fun being a top 15 team. KU fans were predicting and hoping for a court storm in their game threads, and were wanting the respect of a court storm, but they didn't get it.
It was pretty cool when I realized that they hadn't. Kinda like we expected to win (which we did).
There are plenty of teams out there that sill would have stormed after beating a top 10 team, even with the lead for 35 minutes.
The only acceptable rushing would have been on a last second game winner when we were down the whole game. Glad to see neither of those happened.

Maybe I'm just an evil person, but if (when?) we beat them at AFH, it would be funny to see the Cyclone fans in attendance rush THAT floor.

I agree, I have heard enough Rock chalk chants in Hilton to justify this. 3 dudes singing Sweet Caroline just wouldn't send the message that we are here to win the Big 12.
