So who could we get?

Dino Babers? He's from Briles' tree (runs the same offense) and has done well at tough spots before, but he only has three years experience as a HC so far.

Without Briles recruiting pedigree he's just another guy running a spread offense. We need a big time recruiter who can also coach. I have yet seen anyone mentioned in this thread that fits the bill and who we can realistically get.

Next.
 
I heard a guy on the radio today say Scott Frost--formerly of Nebraska and now apparently coaching at Oregon. NFW. I would call the Board of Regents if that cat even gets an call. Don't even waste energy on this one I hope...any feigned interest he would have hopefully would be so transparent for what it is. I do not want any Frosts or Cottons or anyone with Nebraska connections coming here to collect a paycheck for awhile until they can dump on us. After intelligence, I think a vested interest to stay a long time is the next criteria.
