Hawkins sort of intrigues me, nice size and offers. Vucetic is 7'1", height seems to be a desired trait on this board, though not sure if he can shoot, few BSC offers. Wagner, was an injured former walk-on.

No on all 3 of them.
Vucetic is the typical soft or "finesse" European player.
Hawkins is a very average high major basketball player.
Wagner dislocated his ankle in pre-season drills and will still take a while coming back- he was also only a preferred walk-on.

Reminds me ALOT of Jahii Carson of ASU… Looks like he can make about any shot out there but those shots will be a hell of a lot tougher in college with much better defenders. He has to be able to pass the ball as well.

Dude looks like a turtle that's missing his shell and is trying to find it.
Post of the day! I lol everytime

I want a guy named pookie. My little daughter is losing interest now that bubu is gone. I have to have a new guy with a strange name to be her favorite player.

I still want to know if we are going to give Roderick Bobbitt a look out of IHCC. Sorry if already posted in this thread. Combo guard. Offered by Missouri and Oklahoma today.

I'm sure we've given him a look but Fred probably thinks he can do better for now. Should we miss on a few transfers, I'm sure he'll take Bobbitt.

Another case, less likely but possible, is that Bobbitt doesn't have interest in Iowa State.

Not a true transfer but would be eligible right away, pending his release.

Tariq Owens, a 6-9 four-star prospect, is planning to ask Ohio for a release from his Letter of Intent, according to his AAU coach.

His coach just interviewed for the Boston College job and sources say he took it. I'm guessing coach called the kid and wants to take him to Boston.

Yeah, I assumed his release was due to his coach being close to leaving for BC. Though it wouldn't suprise me if Ohio put Boston College on the restricted transfer list along with other teams they play. All depends on if the coach/player left on good terms.
I am not advocating Fred should go after him or not as I haven't seen him play. The thought of adding talented big to develop after losses of Cunningham, Abu, and Johnson seems to be an resonable option to consider.

If a coach can get 6'9" four star players to the MAC…I'm curious to see the talent he gets to the ACC with BC. Unless that was some chance connection thing.

Maurice Watson Jr. was already bandied about earlier in the thread. Think he is a solid player. Where the argument lies is whether he can play the 1 or the 2. The rest of the Terrier transfers are small potatoes in my opinion. Don't want.

If he averaged over 7 assists I'd assume he can play the point. I just don't think ISU has a need for a point guard with Monte and Custer on the roster.
