Marvin Clark

He is the pg of Sunrise Christian Academy's varsity high school team. Clark plays on the Prep team (5th year or post-grad guys, all seniors). They do play on the same AAU team though.

Thanks! I didn't realize that. I know that MSU was interested in Clark at one point but see that they aready have a SF. I hope he commits soon!

Clark did say on his twitter that he'd announce in early spring. Sorry this is kind of off topic but I was curious what anyone knows about malou? Has anyone seen him play? I asked in another thread and only heard crickets.

I actually was able to play pick-up with Malou and a lot of his prep teammates last week. He is VERY athletic but still raw. I don't know if he is really 6'9"..maybe 6'8" at best. He has a great handle for his size though. Like I said very athletic -- very quick for his size. Very long player. His catching circle on alley-oops is ridiculous. He will need to work on his strength a lot in college. Overall, he could be great. That being said, he is still very much a project. I've heard he is pretty much a lock to go to ISU. Will likely redshirt next year. Some coaches have been coming to see him play though at F3Fire..including the Miss. State coach. He basically told him though that he's a Cyclone. He will still need to make the qualifying scores to get in though, obviously.

Also, I really would love to land Marvin Clark. He is a big, tough dude that would be a great role player at first with a chance to really, really contribute down the road. Seems to love Hoiberg too.

Nairn stood out in the MoKan videos. Clark also has an AAU teammate Moataz Hosny (from Egypt) that goes to Sunrise that looks good, but he may be need a prep year as it sounds like there could be eligibility issues.

Obviously Fred can really identify talent, but although Clark is a new name to us, he had already caught the eye of coaches like Izzo, Altman, Weber, Marshall, and Kruger. He would be a great late pick-up.

How was his jump shot? I realize it was just pick up ball.

The crowd at the OU game that he visited for was not the best, the environment at KSU tonight was a lot better as it should have been. It was a jacked up crowd for an instate game. Of course the OU game is the one where a bunch of students didn't show up. He thinks he saw what Hilton Magic was all about, but he really didn't.

He has a video of him and a few of his teammates rushing the court last night at KSU. I'd post it if I wasn't so tech dumb. After the butt hurting we had last night I could have done w/o seeing that tweet.
