Official 2014 Recruiting thread

That's a great question. No updates on him lately, that I have seen. He would be a great pick up, IMO.
When guys at his own school say that he's slow off the ball?

Solid, maybe. There are lots and lots of other guys I can see as "great" pick ups...

Unless, of course, he's tight with Rashad Vaughn.

Seems to favor Michigan St.
From SpartanMag.com (July 11th) - As far as his recruitment, Wesley indicted to us that he is not in a hurry to make his decision and he has no problem taking his recruitment into the fall. As a junior he racked over 40 catches form 800+ yards and scored 18 touchdowns, he is looking to improve on those numbers and lead his team to a championship. If he does, we would not be surprised if Wesley climbs the rivals.com position rankings. He is currently rated the #73 wide receiver in the nation for the class of 2014.

Out of the 13 programs that have offered Darius Lee-Campbell, #Cyclones and #CUBuffs have been showing the most love: http://*******/1bFlPuD

Darius Lee-Campbell - Yahoo! Sports
I watched some of Campbell's video earlier, and was impressed with his athleticism. I'm not quite sure that he's polished enough passer to be a quarterback--but that's pretty much what they said about Teddy Bridgewater, too. Definitely a good enough athlete to help a team somewhere.

Hell of an option read guy, and athlete in general. I think his passing will develop better if he gets exposed to it more. I would like to get him.

Wesley is visiting ISU "for sure" this coming Monday according to his Twitter. Sorry, I'm on my phone and can't post the link but Allen Lazard retweeted it.

Wesley's visit on Monday can and will be very important.
IMO, reading his tweets, ISU is #1 and the visit Monday could land his commitment.

Would love to get Wesley. Really building a solid receiving core. After him, I would love to pull Gurranimo(Sp) and call it a day for WRs.

Would love to get Jauan and Geronimo, but I'm greedy, and would take another guy like Kenric Young, too.

I loosely follow recruits tweets and rely mostly on "aggregators" like cyclone recruiting retweets. But even with as little effort as I put into it Wesley has popped up with pro ISU tweets again and again. Got to think with the timing of the ISU love and the visit there is at least a chance he's ready to commit.
