Then do it brah, and if writes about basketball for a major sports website I'll value his opinion.

Thought you might enjoy this read, BRAH, since it was written by several writers near the end of the 2011 season that was apparently so impressive for Spoelstra. Some choice nugs:

On who did the least with the most:

"One could argue that a more creative mind than Erik Spoelstra might have plucked more wins from a roster featuring two of the three best players in our sport. You could posit that argument."

On who should lose their job after the season:

"
The first two are simple: If either Stan Van Gundy or Erik Spoelstra isn't pacing that sideline in the Eastern Conference finals, either of them could be shown the door."

"
Erik Spoelstra, for the most obvious reasons possible."

On who's done the most with the least:

"I'm incredibly impressed with what George Karl has done this season. The incessant Carmelo Anthony trade chatter, the current lack of a go-to player, and a complete roster overhaul were difficult obstacles to overcome. Despite all that, he's got the Nuggets playing at a high level."

"George Karl. No disrespect to the players currently on the Nuggets' roster, but Carmelo Anthony left the team and we all wondered if they would be able to score enough. Not only have they been able to score, but they are now the most efficient offensive team in the league, and a lot of it has to do with Karl's offense."

"It's not Doug Collins or Tom Thibodeau, because their teams have lots of talent. It's George Karl, because the MeloDrama could have crushed a lesser coach both before and after the trade. He had the team running early, and now it is galloping. That's masterful stuff with any roster, and even more impressive considering the circumstances."

On the best coach:

"1. George Karl; 2. Doug Collins; 3. Tom Thibodeau."

So we're in thread derailment by a Miami Heat fan (who is embarrassed to admit he's a Heat fan) and Hawkeye fan who has 3000 posts on an ISU board? Maybe time to start a no-CyJack NBA thread because pivotal game four for Bulls/Nets in 90 minutes.

Or maybe it's time for a banhammer.

I'll be watching. Go Bulls.

George Karl is a better coach than Spoelstra. Put the Heat in the Western Conference and see how well they would do. Also, Karl turned the Melo' trade which could have destroyed the Nuggets into a powerhouse. That team is very balanced and plays well.

5-on-5: Best and worst coaches in the NBA - ESPN

Brah, I think I've found your problem. You don't know what year it is. It's 2013, an article from April 2011 does nothing to prove your point LOL. What all has Spoelstra added to his resume since then? A trip to the Finals in '11, an NBA title in '12, a 66 win season which included a 27 game winning streak and being the heavy favorites to repeat. Ask yourself this question do you think Phil Jackson was regarded as a better coach in '93 than 1990? At least get me an article from this year bro.

Here's one for you where Bill Simmons makes the cases that Spoelstra should be coach of they year this year (2013 in case you don't know):

And that's why Erik Spoelstra has to be the Coach of the Year. Has to. Has to.

They would win the title, remember when they destroyed the Western Conf champs in 5 games last year? They're also 25-5 against the West this year. Next.

Yes I'm the only derailing the thread LOL, why do you think I'm embarrassed to admit I'm a Heat fan?

What would I get banned for, I've just made an argument and supported it with facts, you're the one who keeps resulting to personal insults because you can't back up your viewpoint.

Because being a heat fan makes you a bandwagon doucher.

I used to be a Cavs fan so I've been a consistent LeBron fan since he came into the league, I used to like the Suns during Nash's heyday their. I grew up in Iowa, who am I supposed to root for?

Also I will completely drop any argument of Spoelstra vs. Karl or Brooks, if no one else brings it up either, but as long as DC or Cycash keeps bringing it up I'm going to come back and post about it too.

this seems like bandwagoning. Root for a team in the midwest?

Why? There's enough bandwagon Bulls fans around here, I don't hate myself enough to root for the T'wolves or Bucks. I've never liked the Pistons. Plus I have absolutely no connection to any of those cities.

^^^LOL bandwagon fan^^^

LOL what? You didn't think a team starting Darius Morris and Andrew Goudelock was a lock to win too?

CyCash continues to impressive with his NBA knowledge LOL.

Answer my questions about Kirk, Hawk fan, else go back to HN.

I said like 3 pages ago that CyJack was just a bandwagon fan, looks like my predictions skills are OK. "LOL".

Also, I just won 20 bucks and $60 headphones by picking the Spurs over the Lakers for a 4-0 or 4-1 sweep and the guy already paid me. Sucks to suck

LOL sure you did. You picked the Lakers in here bud, from now on you should probably just stick to this strategy and not announce your picks until the outcome has been decided, it will make you look a little less foolish.
