***MLB Postseason Thread***

Congrats to my namesake, Buster Posey, for winning the NL batting title! After suffering through his injury and recovery last year, I don't think ANYone expected him to perform the way he has in 2012. He is the heart and soul of this Giants team - they know it and the fans know it.

He'll probably go home and celebrate with a Diet Coke and PB&J ('cuz he's such a rebel). :nah: Ok, maybe not...

From the San Francisco Chronicle (after the updated italicized part):

Would you rather see your Yanks play Tejas or the O's?

hey, you're back from your ban...

and I'd rather see the Orioles...not happy that we could be playing Texas especially in the new format (@ Texas for two games then @ NY for the last 3 )

Yeah, I took it too far with Tiggers; had it coming.

Ballsy call for the Rangers to go with Darvish in the wild card game, IMO. His MLB debut this year was awful, so I'd be wary about pitching him in high-pressure situations. You may get your wish.

I don't know about the heart and sould of the team. Two pitchers don't want to pitch to him. Don't get me wrong the guys seems awesome. My kids even love Posey. I want to know why Timmy and Zito won't pitch to him.

I was watching an ESPN video that had the all-star team combining both leagues and here is what Eric Karabell and Dave Schoenfield thought.

1st Team
C- Buster Posey-SF
1B- Prince Fielder- Det.
2B- Robinson Cano- NYY
SS- Ian Desmond- Wash.
3B- Miguel Cabrera- Det.
LF- Ryan Braun- Mil.
CF- Mike Trout- LAA
RF- Jason Heyward- Atl.
SP- Justin Verlander

Anybody you guys would switch instead of the top or do you think this would be the best team to put out there this year?

Derek Jeter all the way. I'm a proud yanks fan, but you cant deny the facts. Dude hit .316.
